Winnipeg Blue Bombers Have Lost Last Two Games

Winnipeg head to Hamilton looking to snap a two-game losing sequence and get back to .500.

The Blue Bombers’ run of Grey Cup appearances was finally ended last season, so they entered the current campaign looking to bounce back from their ‘worst’ season in a long time.

They enjoyed a winning start to 2026 as they travelled to Calgary to down the Stampeders, 30-28.

However, it has been all downhill for Winnipeg since then, as they have suffered home defeats either side of an early bye week.

The Blue Bombers dropped their home opener against Hamilton, 37-27, and when they returned to action last week they were beaten 23-18 by Edmonton.

Hamilton Tiger-Cats Seeking Third Straight Victory

Hamilton return from the bye week looking to pick up from where they left off, having won back-to-back games.

The Tiger-Cats made it all the way to the Eastern Final a year ago, and entered this season with high hopes of getting their hands on the Grey Cup.

They endured a losing start to the campaign, falling 30-27 in overtime to Montreal, but they have bounced back impressively.

Hamilton got off the mark on the road as they downed the Blue Bombers in Winnipeg, 37-27.

The Tiger-Cats then returned home to make it back-to-back victories with a 41-27 success when they took on the BC Lions.
