Toronto Argonauts Riding Back-To-Back Wins
Toronto head to Calgary having rebounded from a season-opening defeat with back-to-back wins.
The Argonauts struggled massively in their defence of the Grey Cup last season, but Chad Kelly – back from a season on the sidelines – has them headed in the right direction in 2026.
Having sat out Week 1 on a bye, they made a losing start to the season as they were beaten 37-30 in Montreal.
Toronto issued an immediate response though, as they travelled to Ottawa to take down the Redblacks, 44-24.
The Argonauts then made it back-to-back wins last weekend as they beat defending champions Saskatchewan, 40-34, in their first ‘home’ game of the season.
Calgary Stampeders Got Off Mark In Week 4
Calgary return home looking to follow up last week’s victory on the road – their first win of the season.
The Stampeders opened the season with home games either side of an early bye, but they failed to make the most of that favourable scheduling.
They kicked off the campaign with a narrow defeat to Winnipeg, falling 30-28 to the Blue Bombers.
Calgary then went on a bye, before returning to action with a 40-37 overtime defeat at home to defending champions Saskatchewan.
The Stampeders were able to avoid a third straight loss however, as they took down the BC Lions on the road, 41-33.
