Roma vs Inter Milan Preview
Gasperini has made a big impact in Roma so far as the team finally look like a proper title contender. Inter Milan shouldn’t be underestimated despite their two slip ups in Serie A, so I view draw as a value bet.
Stats
- Roma are unbeaten in 8 of their last 10 matches.
- Inter Milan are unbeaten in their last 6 matches.
- Lautaro Martinez has scored 6 goals in his last 5 matches for Argentina & Inter Milan.

Roma Form
Roma are having a great start to the new Serie A campaign, collecting 15 points in six matches and currently share the top spot with Napoli.
Gian Piero Gasperini’s side lost just one match so far, 1-0 to Torino in mid-September, but recovered with two straight victories against Lazio 1-0 and Verona 2-0.
In their most recent appearance, Giallorossi defeated Fiorentina 2-1 on the road just before the international break, Matias Soule and Bryan Cristante finding the net in first half.
Their results in the Europa League have been mixed though, beating Nice 2-1 on the road, then losing 1-0 to Lille at home.
Inter Milan Form
Inter Milan hit a rough patch in Serie A in late August when they recorded back to back defeats to Udinese 2-1 and Juventus 4-3.
Nerazzurri recovered by earning three straight victories in the Italian top flight, beating Sassuolo 2-1, Cagliari 2-0 and most recently Cremonese 4-1.
Christian Chivu’s side is having great time in the Champions League, winning both of their games so far against Ajax 2-0 in Amsterdam and Slavia Prague 3-0 at home, Marcus Thuram and Lautaro Martinez scoring two goals each, Denzel Dumfries also on target.
Team News
Roma’s Edoardo Bove is having heart condition and will miss rest of the season, while Angelino is doubtful due to a virus infection.
As for the visitors, they can’t count on one of their main strikers Marcus Thuram due to a hamstring injury, while Matteo Darmian is also out with a calf injury.
