Inter Milan vs Pisa Predictions
Inter should be able to bounce back from midweek Champions League disappointments to claim a likely high-scoring home win on Friday.
High-Scoring Home Win on the Cards
- Inter Milan won 8 of their last 11 home matches (Serie A)
- Inter Milan have seen an average of 3.18 goals scored per game this season (home matches)
- Inter Milan have seen over 2.5 goals in 5 of their last 7 home matches
- Pisa lost 9 of their last 21 matches (Serie A)
Inter 100% in H2H Record
Inter Milan and Pisa have met on two previous occasions in the past 25 years. Inter won both games, including a 2-0 win in Pisa last year.
Inter Stumble at San Siro
Inter Milan return to Serie A business on Friday after a punishing 3-1 home reversal against Champions League leaders Arsenal earlier this week. Gabriel Jesus bagged twice in a well-deserved win for the Gunners.
Cristian Chivu's men have been in excellent form domestically, picking up eight wins, while remaining unbeaten in nine Serie A games since the end of November.
Strong at San Siro, I Nerazzurri have won eight and lost only two of 11 home Serie A matches this season. Defensive issues remain, though, with at least one goal conceded in six of their last eight games at San Siro.
Pisa Still Winless This Year
Pisa make the trip to Milan after picking up a point in a dramatic Serie A contest against Atalanta last weekend. Nikola Krstovic's 83rd-minute goal looked to have sealed victory for La Dea before Rafiu Durosinmi's equaliser just four minutes later.
Alberto Gilardino's side have shown some signs of life in recent weeks, picking up four draws from their last six Serie A fixtures. I Nerazzurri now find themselves 19th in the division, ahead of Verona on goal difference, but still three points short of safety.
Despite improved performances in the past month, Pisa remain winless since November, while they have won just one of 21 Serie A games played this season.
