LGD Gaming vs Xtreme Gaming Betting Predictions
LGD Gaming and Xtreme Gaming are set to face off on Tuesday, September 29, in the first round of Group A at BLAST SLAM VIII, marking their third clash since LGD’s major roster revamp.
The two teams last met a week ago at PGL Wallachia Season 9, when LGD Gaming won, and they're expected to do the same on Tuesday. This is no surprise, as LGD have put together a very strong roster; however, Xtreme Gaming are no pushovers either and should not be overlooked.
Xtreme Gaming have looked good since they revamped their lineup and look more than ready to challenge for top spots at BLAST SLAM VIII. And considering they played LGD close last time out, it is fair to expect another competitive affair on Tuesday.

- Xtreme Gaming are ramping up
- Expect another competitive game

LGD Gaming Look Promising
Following a slow and unexciting start to the season, with just one notable tournament placement – a runner-up finish at BLAST SLAM VII in June, LGD decided to start fresh. After a rough ninth-13th place finish at The International, LGD Gaming decided to pull the plug on their old roster and signed a new lineup, consisting of some of the best players in the world.
The new-look lineup already debuted earlier this month at PGL Wallachia Season 9, where LGD Gaming impressed with a promising run through the group stage and an even more impressive performance in the playoffs, eventually ending the event in third place.
The promising start with the new lineup gives hope that LGD Gaming can make a splash at BLAST SLAM VIII as well. However, they’ve yet to prove that they can challenge the world’s best teams, so a run for another medal is questionable.

Xtreme Gaming Are in Good Shape
Xtreme Gaming replaced their entire roster on September 11, putting together one of the scariest Chinese lineups in the scene. The major overhaul followed a failed performance at The International, where Xtreme Gaming placed 14th-15th; granted, considering what they’ve produced earlier in the year, an early elimination from the world championship was hardly a surprise.
The new roster debuted earlier this month at PGL Wallachia Season 9, where Xtreme Gaming placed fourth. They had a perfect 3-0 run through the group stage before taking down Team Nemesis and GamerLegion in the playoffs. Yet Xtreme Gaming were no match for LGD and Natus Vincere.
For BLAST SLAM VIII, Xtreme Gaming will be without Xm, which is a notable blow. He will be replaced by MooN, who is not a bad player, but still not Xm.
