Jiri Lehecka is yet to see an upturn in form since switching coaches, the opposite true for Stefanos Tsitsipas. I don’t think there will be much in this one, Tsitsipas to come through a close clash in New York.

New Coach for Lehecka
Jiri Lehecka lost to Jannik Sinner in the Miami final but hasn’t matched that achievement.
The Czech parted ways with Michal Navratil before the hard court swing,
hiring Frederic Fontang who was Felix Auger-Aliassime’s coach for close to ten years. He failed to reach a quarter-final in Los Cabos, Montreal and Cincinnati.
The World No.19 beat Pablo Carreno Busta 6-1 7-6 4-6 6-2 at the US Open, winning 46% of his 2nd serves and saving 3/7 break points.
Lehecka eased past qualifier Toby Samuel 6-4 6-2 6-4 in the second round, getting it done in under two hours.
Stefanos Tsitsipas dropped to World No.88 in June and made a big decision after Wimbledon. He split from his father and long-time coach, hiring Thomas Perrin, and immediately won the title in Gstaad.
The 28-year-old couldn’t maintain that form on hard courts, beaten by Alex de Minaur in his opening match in Washington, Joao Fonseca in the second round in Montreal and Aleksandar Kovacevic in the third round in Winston Salem.
The Greek was unfancied against Arthur Fils in New York, defying the odds to win 4-6 7-6 6-1 6-4 despite winning 44% of his 2nd serves.
Tsitsipas overcame another deficit in the second round, rallying to beat Lloyd Harris 6-7 6-3 7-6 6-4 in over three hours. He converted 5/17 break points, hitting 57 winners and 50 unforced errors.
