Kyrian Jacquet won 100% of his 1st serves against Holger Rune and comes into this match full of confidence.
Luciano Darderi is a clay court specialist so I am backing Jacquet to continue his charge in Tokyo.

Jacquet Climbs Into the Top 100
Kyrian Jacquet went 2-7 on the ATP Tour this year before a career best performance in Hangzhou last week.
The 25-year-old beat Aleksandar Vukic, Tomas Martin Etcheverry and Fabian Marozsan but fell short in the semi-finals, going down 7-6 6-1 to Andrey Rublev. The run saw him break into the Top 100 for the first time.
Jacquet hardly gave Holger Rune a chance in the first round in Tokyo, winning 6-3 6-1 in 54 minutes. He won 62% (52/84) of the points and didn’t allow a break point against the former World No.4.
Darderi Inconsistent on Hard Courts
Luciano Darderi has won five ATP Tour titles, all of his success coming on clay. He is 12-9 on hard courts this year which includes a 7-6 record against Top 100 players.
The Italian was in poor form before the US Open but took advantage of a soft draw to reach the fourth round. He went down 6-2 6-2 7-6 Alexander Zverev, winning 36% of his 2nd serves and saving 13/17 break points.
Darderi beat Casper Ruud 7-6 6-3 in Tokyo, saving 6/8 break points. The victory snapped a seven match losing streak against Top 50 players.
