Bu Yunchaokete has been out of the Top 100 for a year, largely competing on the Challenger circuit. This will be his ninth ATP Tour match in 2026.
The 24-year-old failed to qualify for the French Open and Wimbledon. He got through at the US Open, beating Rafael Jodar in straight sets before a second round defeat to Michael Zheng.
His first ATP Tour quarter-final appearance of the year came in Hangzhou last week where he lost 6-3 6-3 to Roman Safiullin. He beat Juan Manuel Cerundolo 6-2 5-7 6-4 in the first round in Beijing.
