Jiri Lehecka and Arthur Fils are evenly matched with a close clash expected in Cincinnati. I think the odds are too high on Lehecka who can reach the fourth round.

Lehecka Sitting Outside Top 10

Jiri Lehecka reached the final in Miami, losing to Jannik Sinner, but has been unable to replicate that form. He lost to Pablo Carreno Busta in the French Open first round.

The Czech went deeper at Wimbledon, suffering a 4 sets defeat to Alexander Zverev. He returned to action in Los Cabos, beaten in his opening match by Coleman Wong.

The 24-year-old cruised through his opening two matches in Montreal, beating Vit Kopriva and Alexander Blockx in straight sets before a 6-3 6-3 defeat to Rafael Jodar.

Lehecka served strong to defeat Matteo Berrettini 6-4 6-7 6-3 in Cincinnati, winning 67% of his 2nd serves and saving all four break points.

Fils Finding Form

Arthur Fils lost to Carlos Alcaraz in the Qatar Open final, reached the semi-finals in Miami and won the title in Barcelona.

The 22-year-old went out to Jannik Sinner in the Madrid semi-finals before a hip injury forced him to miss the French Open. He took more time off after a second round exit at Wimbledon.

The Frenchman got back on court in Washington where he lost to Rafael Jodar in his opening match. He met Jodar again in Montreal, beaten 7-6 6-3 in the quarter-finals.

Fils came home strong in his opening match in Cincinnati, getting past Yannick Hanfmann 7-6 6-1 in 96 minutes.
