Hot and humid conditions are another factor in Los Cabos, making matches physically demanding. The relatively low altitude means conditions are largely dictated by the court speed and warm weather.

Players to Watch

Jiri Lehecka
Lehecka enters Los Cabos as the top seed and one of the leading title contenders. The Czech has been in good form, and his powerful game should work well in the conditions. He has a strong chance of making a deep run this week.

Karen Khachanov
Khachanov has not been at his best recently, but he remains a dependable performer against winnable opponents. His experience and solid all-round game should give him a good chance of putting together a decent run in Los Cabos.

Cameron Norrie
Norrie's recent form and fitness are concerns, but his record in Mexico makes him difficult to overlook. The former Los Cabos champion knows these conditions well and could become a serious contender if he finds his rhythm.

Denis Shapovalov
Shapovalov returns as the defending champion after an impressive title run last year. His lack of consistency makes him difficult to trust, but when his aggressive game clicks, he has the quality to challenge for the title again.
