Montreal are tipped to win back-to-back meetings with Calgary.

  • Calgary Stampeders have lost 2 of their 3 home games
  • Montreal Alouettes have won 6 of the previous 7 meetings

Montreal Alouettes Boast 4-1 Record After Back-To-Back Wins

Montreal go into the second straight meeting with Calgary boasting a 4-1 record following back-to-back wins.

The Alouettes kicked off the season on the road, but were able to make a winning start as they downed Hamilton 30-27 in overtime.

They then backed that up in their home opener with a 37-30 victory over Toronto, but were unable to get to 3-0 as they fell 32-29 in overtime in Edmonton.

Montreal issued an immediate response though, as they returned home to down Ottawa 37-35.

The Alouettes then made it back-to-back wins, as they returned from the bye week with a 37-30 success against Calgary.

Calgary Stampeders Out To Rebound From Third Loss

Calgary head to Montreal looking to avenge last week’s defeat to the Alouettes, which dropped them to 2-3.

The Stampeders opened the season with home games either side of an early by week, but they failed to take advantage of that.

They opened with a 30-28 defeat to Winnipeg, and then returned to action with a 40-37 overtime defeat to defending champions Saskatchewan.

Calgary finally got off the mark in Week 4 as they beat the BC Lions on the road, 41-33, and they followed that up a week later as they downed Toronto at home, 58-36.

The Stampeders failed to make it three wins in a row however, as they were beaten 37-30 in Montreal last weekend.
