CSKA Moscow vs Admiral Vladivostok KHL 2026-27 Predictions & Expert Betting Tips

CSKA Moscow -1.5, Admiral Vladivostok under 1.5 team goals and CSKA to score first are the best bets, with the hosts carrying superior attacking form, special teams and shot suppression into Friday’s matchup.

CSKA produced an excellent response to their opening defeat against Spartak Moscow, shutting out a Torpedo side that had scored seven goals across its first two games. Dmitry Gamzin stopped all 19 shots in the 3-0 victory, while his teammates blocked another 16 attempts.

Dmitry Buchelnikov has scored the opening goal in both CSKA matches. He struck on the power play against Spartak before breaking the deadlock against Torpedo, strengthening the case for the Moscow side to score first again.

Admiral have collected only one goal from their opening two games and are still searching for their first even-strength goal. Their attacking problems were particularly evident against Dynamo Moscow, when they registered only three shots on target across the first 40 minutes.

CSKA’s power play has converted in both matches, while Admiral’s penalty kill has conceded a goal in each of its two games. That special-teams mismatch gives the hosts another route towards covering the puck line.

  • CSKA have scored first in both of their matches, with Dmitry Buchelnikov opening the scoring each time.
  • Admiral have scored only once in two games and are yet to produce an even-strength goal.
  • Dmitry Gamzin made 19 saves as CSKA shut out Torpedo 3-0.
  • CSKA’s power play has scored in both games, while Admiral’s penalty kill has been breached in both.

CSKA Moscow Form

CSKA bounced back from a 3-2 defeat against Spartak by beating previously unbeaten Torpedo 3-0. Buchelnikov opened the scoring during the first period before Denis Guryanov converted on the power play and Pavel Karnaukhov added an empty-net goal.

The performance in front of Gamzin was particularly encouraging. CSKA restricted Torpedo to 19 shots on goal and blocked 16 further attempts, preventing one of the competition’s early high-scoring teams from creating sustained pressure.

CSKA also showed attacking promise in the defeat against Spartak. Buchelnikov scored an early power-play goal and Maxim Sorkin added their second, meaning the Moscow side have now scored with the man advantage in consecutive matches. Official KHL match reports

Admiral Vladivostok Form

Admiral remain winless after losing 2-0 against Ak Bars Kazan and suffering a 2-1 shootout defeat against Dynamo Moscow.

Ivan Kulbakov produced an impressive performance in goal against Dynamo and kept Admiral competitive through regulation and overtime. However, the lack of offensive support remains a major concern. Admiral managed only three shots on goal during the first two periods and needed a third-period power-play strike from Yegor Chezganov to score their first goal of the season.

Admiral have not scored during the first period this season and have never held a lead. Their penalty kill has also conceded in both matches.
