2026 Musidora Stakes Entries
John Gosden won the Musidora with future Oaks winner Soul Sister three years ago, and team Gosden will be represented on Wednesday by Legacy Link. Colin Keane's mount won her maiden at Haydock last September, before a staying on fourth behind Precise in the Fillies' Mile.
Moments Of Joy finished a place behind Legacy Link in that Group One at Newmarket, but could only record a sixth-place finish on her reappearance in the Park Express Stakes. Sitting ahead of Aidan O'Brien's filly in the market is Ed Walker's Felicitas, who maintained her unbeaten record with an impressive win at Sandown last month.
Sea The Storm claimed a narrow victory on her return in a maiden at Wetherby two weeks ago. Ralph Beckett's K Sarra steps up in trip following a limp reappearance in the Fred Darling. George Boughey's Della Pace rounds off the field.
2026 Musidora Stakes Tips
The stand-out contender here has to be LEGACY LINK (11/8), and I'm in no mood to side against the market leader.
Colin Keane's mount recovered well after a slow start to finish third behind Evolutionist on her racecourse debut at Newmarket, and looked smart when scoring at Haydock. Legacy Link looked outpaced coming out of the dip in the Fillies' Mile, but hit the line better than anyone back in fourth, staying on past a beaten Moments Of Joy.
Although Precise didn't manage to follow up in the 1000 Guineas, Venetian Lace and Evolutionist - second and third in the Fillies' Mile - secured top three finishes in that Classic earlier this month. Legacy Link's form is rock solid, and with the promise of much more to come over this sort of trip, Gosden's filly should prove extremely hard to beat.
