Perth Glory vs Brisbane Roar Preview

Both sides are out of contention for the finals and this final game of the season is a dead rubber. Perth should win at home against a Roar side which has struggled on the road.
  • Roar are winless in 14 their last 15 games
  • Glory are unbeaten in six of their last seven games
  • Glory have won two of their last four home games
  • Roar have scored in their last five of their last six defeats
  • Glory have conceded in their last three wins

Perth Glory vs Brisbane Roar Head To Head

This will be the third meeting this season. Brisbane came away with a 2-1 win on the road back in Round 13 before a 1-1 draw in Round 19 at Suncorp.

Perth Glory Form - Tough To Beat Of Late

Glory come into their final game of the season with a 7-7-11 record on the season and down in 10th spot on the ladder.

Trailing the top six by nine points heading into Round 26, Glory were never seriously in the finals hunt despite a promising start to the season under Adam Griffiths.

Nevertheless, Perth have proven tough to break down lately, going unbeaten in six of their last seven games, holding finals-bound teams like Melbourne City and Sydney FC to draws, along with earning a 3-1 home win over Macarthur across the last month.

Brisbane Roar Form - Just One Win In 2026

After spending the opening couple of months nestled inside the top six, it's been an alarming fall from grace for Brisbane, who are down in 11th spot on the ladder with a 6-8-11 record.

The Roar have only managed one win in 2026 - but that did come against Perth.

Overall, it's been another poor season for Brisbane, who's physical brand of football was figured out by the majority of teams as the campaign went on.

Brisbane went ahead against finals-bound Melbourne City last weekend, but couldn't go on with the job, ultimately going down 3-2.
