Fiorentina vs Como Predictions
Como can take advantage of a Fiorentina side with more pressing concerns in Serie A. An away win is my best bet for Tuesday's Coppa Italia contest.
Como in Fine Away Form
- Fiorentina lost 6 of their last 11 home matches (domestic fixtures)
- Como won their last 2 away matches against Fiorentina
- Com won their last 3 away matches
Como Lead H2H
Fiorentina and Como have met on three previous occasions. Como claimed victories in both of their last two visits to Florence, including a 2-0 win earlier this season.
Fiorentina Stumble in Florence
Fiorentina turn their attention to the Coppa Italia after a disappointing Serie A defeat last weekend. Paulo Vanoli's side stumbled to a 2-1 home reversal against Cagliari, with Marco Brescianini's late goal proving consolation only in Florence.
The Viola had enjoyed their best run of the season before Saturday's defeat, with eight points picked up from four previous fixtures. Despite recent improvements, Fiorentina remain inside the relegation zone, one point behind 17th-placed Lecce.
A poor home record remains a big issue for Vanoli's men. Fiorentina lost six and won only two of their last 11 home fixtures.
Como Maintain Impressive Form
Como arrive in Florence with high spirits after a sensational 6-0 win against Torino last weekend. Anastasios Douvikas bagged twice in an impressively dominant win for Cesc Fabregas's side.
I Lariani have enjoyed an excellent run of form in recent weeks, with five wins and just one defeat recorded from their seven most recent fixtures. Como remain sixth in Serie A, but now trail fourth-placed Napoli by only three points.
Particularly impressive in recent road games, Fabregas's side scored 3-0 wins in each of their last three away fixtures, including an impressive victory in Rome against Lazio.

Como boss Fabregas is unable to call on three first-team players for the trip to Florence. Injured trio Alvaro Morata, Edoardo Goldaniga and Assane Diao are likely to miss out again this week.
