Man United Improving Under Carrick
Man United have jumped into the Premier League’s top four after a six-match unbeaten run, including three wins.
The Red Devils beat Newcastle 1-0 at home before three consecutive draws. Michael Carrick was then appointed as interim boss and United beat Man City 2-0 in his first game in charge.
Carrick's side followed the City win with a 3-2 victory at Arsenal. United conceded first and Bryan Mbeumo equalised before Patrick Dorgu and Matheus Cunha struck in the second half.
Fulham Dropping EPL Points
Marco Silva’s Fulham are seventh in the Premier League table. The Cottagers have been inconsistent on the road this season and are winless in eight of their 11 away games.
Fulham were held to a 1-1 stalemate at Palace before drawing 2-2 with Liverpool and beating Chelsea 2-1 at home. Silva’s side couldn’t build on those results and lost 1-0 at Leeds.
The Cottagers came back from a goal down to beat Brighton 2-1 at home on Saturday. Fulham trailed after 28 minutes and Samuel Chukwueze and Harry Wilson scored in the final 20 minutes.
