H2H - Arsenal Edge Recent Games

Man United have a 102-91 advantage against Arsenal, alongside 51 draws.

Arsenal Are Very Strong at Home

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are on a 12-match unbeaten run in all competitions and have won nine. The Gunners have the Premier League’s best home record this season, taking 29 points from a possible 33.

Arsenal won three league matches in a row, including home victories over Brighton 2-1 and Aston Villa 4-1. That run ended with a 0-0 draw with Liverpool.

The North London outfit responded with cup wins at Portsmouth 4-1 and Chelsea 3-2. They were then held to a goalless league draw at Nottingham Forest.

Arteta’s team extended their long unbeaten run with a comfortable 3-1 Champions League win at Inter Milan. Gabriel Jesus scored twice and Viktor Gyokeres also struck as Arsenal dominated with 2.14 XG.

Man United Struggle to Threaten Away

Man United are inconsistent and have won just four of their last 14 games in all competitions. The Red Devils are also winless in nine of their 12 away matches in all competitions.

United have drawn their last two away games in the Premier League at Leeds 1-1 and Burnley 2-2. A 2-1 FA Cup win at home against Brighton followed.

Michael Carrick took charge of United for the first time on Saturday and led his side to a 2-0 home win against Man City. Bryan Mbeumo and Patrick Dorgu scored in the final 25 minutes and United had 2.27 XG.

Predicted Starting Lineups & Team News

Arsenal (4-3-3): David Raya; Jurrien Timber, William Saliba, Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly; Martin Odegaard, Martin Zubemendi, Declan Rice; Bukayo Saka, Viktor Gyokeres, Leandro Trossard

Defenders Riccardo Calafiori and Piero Hincapie are sidelined with injuries. Midfielder Max Dowman is also unavailable due to an ankle issue.

Man United (4-2-3-1): Senne Lammens; Diogo Dalot, Harry Maguire, Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw; Casemiro, Kobbie Mainoo; Amad Diallo, Bruno Fernandes, Patrick Dorgu; Bryan Mbeumo

Defender Noussair Mazraoui is available following his return from the AFCON. Forward Josh Zirkzee is ruled out due to injury.

Matthijs de Ligt is also unlikely to play following a lower back problem. Michael Carrick provided an update on the centre-back and said, “Hopefully, we'll get him back in some time soon. It's been a little bit slower than what they thought previously.”
