South Sudan Dominant in H2H

South Sudan lead 4-0 with one draw in their last five matches against Djibouti.

Djibouti have Lost their last Five Fixtures

Djibouti were thrashed in two international friendlies against Morocco B last November, losing 6-0 and 7-0.

Before that, Djibouti came away empty-handed in all of their FIFA World Cup qualifiers played between September and October, losing 6-0 to Burkina Faso, 2-0 to Guinea-Bissau, 3-0 to Egypt, and 2-1 to Sierra Leone.

Riverains de la Mer Rouge have lost all of their last five fixtures. They scored one goal and conceded 19.

Djibouti have been in a slump, losing ten consecutive matches, and they have only scored three goals during that period. Additionally, they have registered one win over South Sudan in five meetings.

South Sudan have Performed well despite poor Results

South Sudan did not have much success in their FIFA World Cup qualifying matches between September and October last year.

They lost 4-1 to DR Congo, drew 0-0 with Mauritania, lost 5-0 to Senegal, and drew 0-0 with Togo.

The Bright Stars have drawn two of their last five fixtures, with three defeats. They scored one goal and conceded 11.

South Sudan are winless in their last eight matches, which include five defeats and three draws. However, they will fancy their chances in their first-leg AFCON preliminary round qualifier against Djibouti, as they have defeated their opponents three times in a row.
