FUT Esports Look Strong
FUT Esports went 1-1 in the first week of play. They lost to Natus Vincere (0-2) on the opening day but bounced right back with a very strong showing against Gentle Mates.
The latter game ended in 13-9 on Sunset and 14-12 on Haven, with sociable stepping up once more, posting a 1.28 performance rating. S0pp was close behind at 1.11 and KROSTALY at 1.06.
Despite going 1-1, FUT Esports remain one of the better teams in the VCT EMEA. They looked lost in the first game against NAVI, but that could also be due to fatigue. Even in their game against Gentle Mates, there were some cracks, but there was also noticeable improvement from the opening match, suggesting FUT are trending up.

PCIFIC Esports Need to Work on Their Map Pool
PCIFIC Esports kicked off their VCT EMEA Stage 2 campaign with a 1-2 loss against Gentle Mates.
PCIFIC stepped up on Split and looked very solid, taking the map with a commanding 13-5 score; however, PCIFIC failed to show the same quality of play on Sunset and Ascent, losing the two maps 5-13 and 4-13.
PCIFIC were one of the best Split teams last stage, so seeing them dominate Gentle Mates on the map is both impressive and somewhat unsurprising. However, the issue with this squad is that they are terrible on any other map than Split, making it very hard to trust them and their chances of beating stronger opponents.
