Karmine Corp started the VCT EMEA Stage 2 campaign with two victories against Eternal Fire and GIANTX, beating both squads with a 2-0 sweep.
In the first game, KC dominated Sunset (13-6) but needed overtime to win on Lotus (15-13). The fixture against GIANTX was much smoother, ending in 13-8 on Haven and 13-4 on Ascent. However, GIANTX are arguably one of the weakest teams in the league, and they had to play with a stand-in.
A 2-0 start is a promising sign as Karmine Corp have been struggling a lot this entire season. On the other side, KC have yet to defeat a good team, so it’s fair to be cautiously optimistic about them.
