100 Thieves vs Nongshim RedForce Betting Predictions
100 Thieves and Nongshim RedForce will clash on Friday, October 9, in the lower bracket of VALORANT Champions 2026 playoffs, in their second meeting of the season.
100T and Nongshim RedForce last met during the Esports World Cup, when 100 Thieves won 2-1 en route to the trophy. The VCT Americas representatives have since shown excellent form, winning both the EWC and VCT Americas Stage 2 and securing a tag as the world’s best VALORANT team ahead of the world championship.
Nongshim RedForce have had their moments this season, but have looked largely underwhelming against the world’s best teams. That has also been the case at VALORANT Champions, suggesting RedForce will not have a great time against 100T on Friday.
- 100 Thieves entered VALORANT Champions as the main title contenders
- Nongshim RedForce are dangerous, but don’t seem prepared
- 100T should be able to handle RedForce
100 Thieves Lead the Head-to-Head
100 Thieves and Nongshim RedForce have met only once before this season, during the Esports World Cup. 100 Thieves won that game 2-1.

100 Thieves Need a Bounce-Back
100 Thieves entered VALORANT Champions as the team to beat, having recently won VCT 2026 Americas Stage 2 and the Esports World Cup. However, while they’ve had an explosive start to the tournament, topping Group A with wins over T1 and FUT Esports, 100 Thieves couldn't get past G2 Esports in the quarterfinals.
The VCT Americas derby, which not long ago ended in 100T’s favour, finished the other way around on Thursday, as 100 Thieves failed to keep up with their regional rivals. G2 took the series lead 13-5 on Abyss, then edged past 100 Thieves on Ascent, 13-11, to push the tournament favourites into the lower bracket.
Even though it was not an optimal start to the playoffs for 100 Thieves, the loss to the high-flying G2 Esports does not take away from how good 100T have looked of late. They have the tools to make a lower bracket run.

Nongshim RedForce Look Shaky
Nongshim RedForce enter the lower bracket of VALORANT Champions following a rough defeat against Team Vitality, with two teams pushing each other to the limits.
Team Vitality won the opening map 13-8. Nongshim RedForce struck back with 13-4 on Abyss, but they ran out of steam on Haven and lost in overtime 12-14.
It was not the most convincing performance from Nongshim RedForce, especially in the second half on Haven, where they managed only five rounds, losing all of the lead they’d gained in the first half (4-7).
RedForce’s collapse is not something to ignore, as it could indicate they do not do well under pressure, especially when faced with stronger opponents.
