Without commission, the banker returns approximately +1.17% to the player. Some casinos offer reduced commission tables (3% or 0% with modified payouts); evaluate each on its actual effect on house edge, not the headline commission rate.

A rare table offers Tie at 9:1 (rather than 8:1), which reduces the house edge to 4.84%. That is still worse than Banker, worse than Player, worse than European roulette, and worse than French roulette. Even at 9:1, the Tie bet is not a good bet.
The Streak Fallacy
Scorecards showing the last 20-40 results dominate live baccarat interfaces. The implicit assumption is that past results contain information about future outcomes. They do not. The probability of the next hand being Banker is 45.86% regardless of whether the last five were all Banker wins. The "dragon" pattern, the "zigzag", the roadmap: none contain predictive information. They are visual representations of noise.
The scorecard tells you the hand was resolved fairly. It tells you nothing about the card drawn next.

Speed Baccarat (Evolution)

Lightning Baccarat (Evolution)
