Match Preview

Brazil are desperate for points to finish inside the Top 7, but their results against the tournament’s top contenders have been far from convincing. Poland are currently the hottest team in the competition, so another thrilling encounter is expected.

Brazil Under Pressure

Brazil have suffered a couple of unexpected slip-ups this season, jeopardising their Top 7 hopes. They currently sit eighth in the standings with a 6-4 record.

The South Americans made a perfect 4-0 start to the campaign by defeating Iran, Belgium, Serbia and Argentina, but their form collapsed in Week 2 with consecutive defeats to Ukraine (3-1), Italy (3-1) and Slovenia (3-0).

Brazil finally ended that losing run in their last June appearance, edging Canada 3-2 in a match full of momentum swings and comebacks.

Earlier this week, the South American side delivered an outstanding performance against France, claiming a hugely important 3-0 victory, but failed to build on that result after losing 3-0 to the United States last night.

Poland Chasing Another Win

Poland are the reigning Nations League champions and have continued their strong form in 2026, entering the final stages in third place with a 7-2 record.

Both of their defeats came in five-set battles against Slovenia and Japan in mid-June, but the Poles responded with four straight victories over Ukraine (3-2), Belgium (3-2), Turkey (3-2) and Germany (3-1).

Poland extended that winning streak to five matches in the final game of Week 2 with a comfortable 3-1 victory over Argentina before opening Week 3 with a dominant 3-0 win against Bulgaria.
