Sebastian Baez is unfancied here despite going 5-4 against Top 50 players on hard courts this year. Grigor Dimitrov can’t be trusted as a favourite any time soon, the value with Baez in Cincinnati.

This will be the first match between Grigor Dimitrov and Sebastian Baez.
Baez Aiming to Bounce Back
Sebastian Baez beat Taylor Fritz and Ben Shelton in January but dropped out of the Top 50 in February.
The Argentine struggled on the ATP Tour, winning the Prostejov Challenger in June before a first round exit at Wimbledon. He immediately returned to clay, reaching quarter-finals in Bastad and Kitzbuhel.
Baez got back to hard court action in Montreal, beating Mattia Bellucci before a second round exit to Zizou Bergs.
Dimitrov Drifting Outside Top 100
Grigor Dimitrov lost 11 of his opening 13 matches this year to drop out of the Top 100.
The Bulgarian went on a decent run at Wimbledon, beating Jakub Mensik and Matteo Berrettini on his way to the fourth round where he lost in 5 sets to Arthur Fery.
The 35-year-old has competed in one event since, on clay in Bastad where he lost 6-4 6-2 to Nuno Borges in the second round.
Dimitrov was given a wildcard in Cincinnati where he won the title in 2017.
