Udvardy's Monterrey Revival Continues
Panna Udvardy entered the first round as a lucky loser after losing to Darja Vidmanova in qualifying, but she made excellent use of her second opportunity by defeating Maya Joint in straight sets, 7-6, 6-1. She trailed by a break twice in the first set before fighting back to win it.
