Czech Moves Within One Win of Glory
Karolina Muchova moved into the Wimbledon final after defeating Coco Gauff in three sets, 6-2, 1-6, 7-6. She saved a match point in the deciding-set tiebreak before winning the final four points to seal the victory.
She has now defeated three former Grand Slam champions in a row during the second week and also became the fourth-oldest player to reach her maiden Wimbledon final in the Open Era.
It has been a remarkable turnaround for the Czech, who had not won a main-draw match at Wimbledon in her previous four appearances and had never progressed beyond the quarterfinals on grass before this fortnight.

Young Czech Reaches Maiden Major Final
Linda Noskova secured her place in the Wimbledon final after defeating the in-form Marta Kostyuk 6-4, 6-4. She dropped serve only once and never trailed at any stage of the match.
After saving a match point against Sorana Cirstea, the Czech won her final three matches in straight sets, including an impressive victory over Madison Keys in the fourth round. She has now won 11 of her last 12 grass-court matches, including the Berlin title.
Noskova has recorded 19 grass-court wins since the start of the 2025 season, the most of any player during that period, and now has the chance to cap it by lifting her maiden Wimbledon title.
