Ignacio Buse broke into the Top 100 in February and went a step further in Rio de Janeiro where he got to the semi-finals. He did little of note after that but has hit peak form in Hamburg.

Paul Has Some Luck in Hamburg
Tommy Paul went 14-7 on hard courts, losing to Carlos Alcaraz in the Australian Open fourth round and Sebastian Korda in the Delray Beach final.
The 28-year-old switched to clay in Houston where he won the title, three of his four victories coming in 3 sets. He was unable to bring that form to Europe, going out early in Madrid and Rome.
The American has saved 19/31 break points in Hamburg where he began with a 6-1 6-3 win against Ethan Quinn. He saved an incredible seven match points in a 6-7 7-6 7-6 victory over Tomas Martin Etcheverry.
Paul did it easier in the quarters where he beat Daniel Altmaier 6-2 7-5. He came back from another big deficit in the semis, trailing Alex de Minaur by a set and a break before winning 12 of the final 15 games to get through 2-6 6-3 6-3.
