Arthur Fils is a short priced favourite here but Flavio Cobolli has been battling hard in Cincinnati. I am backing Cobolli to come through a close clash in the semi-finals.

Cobolli Going Deep in Cincinnati
Flavio Cobolli won the title in Acapulco and went close in Munich, losing the final to Ben Shelton. He met Alexander Zverev in the French Open final, going down in 5 sets.
The World No.10 went on another deep run at Wimbledon, reaching the quarter-finals where he went out to Arthur Fery. It was the start of a poor run of form but he has bounced back in Cincinnati.
It hasn’t been easy, beginning with 3 sets wins over Miomir Kecmanovic and Alexander Blockx. He has come from behind to win his last two matches, getting past Rafael Jodar 4-6 7-6 6-3 and Tommy Paul 2-6 6-3 6-4.
Arthur Fils lost to Carlos Alcaraz in the Qatar Open final, reached the semi-finals in Miami and won the title in Barcelona. He appeared to be over his injury issues following a semi-final run in Madrid where he lost to Jannik Sinner.
The 22-year-old suffered a hip injury that forced him to miss the French Open. He took more time to recover after a second round exit at Wimbledon before two defeats to Rafael Jodar, in his opening match in Washington and the quarter-finals in Montreal.
The Frenchman has been serving strong in Cincinnati, saving a combined 8/10 break points. He beat Yannick Hanfmann 7-6 6-1, Jiri Lehecka 6-1 6-7 6-3 and Alex de Minaur 6-3 6-4, spending less than five hours on court.
Fils made light work of Thiago Agustin Tirante in the quarter-finals, winning 6-3 6-2 in 64 minutes. He won 64% of his 2nd serves and didn’t allow a break point.
