Carlos Alcaraz is a short priced favourite but could find Taylor Fritz a tough nut to crack in indoor conditions. I am avoiding the short odds on Alcaraz and backing over 20.5 games in London.

Alcaraz Overcomes Injury
Carlos Alcaraz started the year as World No.1 and proved it by winning the Australian Open, Qatar Open and losing to Jannik Sinner in the Monte Carlo final.
The Spaniard hurt his wrist injury in Barcelona and spent four months out to recover. He returned to action at the US Open, dropping only one set on his way to the quarter-finals.
The 23-year-old went the distance with Ben Shelton before losing 6-7 6-1 6-3 1-6 7-6 in a thriller.
Alcaraz
discussed fatigue after the match:
“After the third set, physically I was really tired, but I found a way to push myself up and to physically give extra. In the fifth set I just started to feel better and better, but I was playing against one of the (best).”
“He is a beast. Shelton is an unbelievable player, powerful. He just managed to play really, really well in every situation, so credit to him. But I leave the court happy. I leave the court with a smile, healthy, and this is what I needed.”
Fritz Hanging Onto Top 10 Spot
Taylor Fritz lost three finals this year, beaten by Ben Shelton in Dallas, Stuttgart and Frances Tiafoe in Halle.
The 28-year-old made amends in Washington, saving a match point on his way to another final where he beat Rafael Jodar 7-6 6-4 and climb to 9 in the rankings.
He lost his opening match in Canada before a narrow 3 sets defeat to Brandon Nakashima in the Cincinnati quarter-finals.
The American is coming off a disappointing performance at the US Open. He cruised into the third round where he lost in 5 sets to Francisco Cerundolo, saving 13/19 break points.
