Alycia Parks is coming off a confidence-boosting run in Athens, where she reached the quarterfinals before losing to Maria Sakkari in straight sets. It was her first back-to-back main-draw wins since March.
Before that run, she had registered multiple main-draw wins only twice during the first seven months of the season, reaching the quarterfinals in Ostrava and the third round in Miami.
This will be her second appearance in Prague. She made her debut last year, reaching the second round after defeating Mai Hontama in the opening round. She will look to repeat that result this week.

Havlickova Eyes Home Success
Lucie Havlickova arrives in Prague after failing to win a match in seven of her last nine tournaments and is currently on a three-match losing streak.
Her best results this season have come on the ITF circuit, where she reached three quarterfinals or better at W75 events, including a run at her home tournament in Ceska Lipa.
This will be her fifth main-draw appearance in Prague. She has reached the second round in alternate appearances, doing so in 2022 and 2025, and will be hoping to continue that pattern this week.
