Alexander Zverev has won all three matches against Quentin Halys but it hasn’t been easy. I think Halys’ serve can hold up in Shanghai where over 22.5 games is my best bet.

Zverev Chasing Top Spot
Alexander Zverev reached three Grand Slams finals this year, winning the French Open, US Open and losing to Jannik Sinner at Wimbledon.
The 29-year-old was last seen in Beijing where he eased past Cameron Norrie and Juncheng Shang in straight sets. He was on track in the quarter-finals before suffering a 4-6 6-4 6-4 defeat to Novak Djokovic.
The German had few problems in his opening match in Shanghai, beating Yibing Wu 6-4 7-6 after winning 71% of his 2nd serves and allowing one break point.
Zverev is in prime position to end the year as World No.1 following injuries to Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz.
Halys Serving Strong in Shanghai
Quentin Halys dropped out of the Top 100 on two occasions this year. He bounced back on clay in Kitzbuhel, winning the title without dropping a set.
The Frenchman has not been able to hit those heights on the hard court swing. He came to Shanghai after losing six of his previous eight matches, four of those to Top 10 players.
Halys’ serve has been broken once this week, beating Coleman Wong 6-4 7-6 and Alexander Blockx 4-6 7-6 6-4. He saved two match points against Blockx.
