Tough to get a read on the Roosters after their opening four games.
As usual, they were slow out of the blocks as they conceded 40 points across the ditch to the Warriors, but they responded with a good win over Souths.
Like every other team this season, the Chooks were blown off the park by Penrith 40-4, but again responded with a big win over Manly, easing to 33-16 triumph before last week's bye. Obviously a fun night for DCE.
Much-maligned for their ill-discipline, the Roosters completed an incredible 96 per cent of sets in the torrential rain that night at 4 Pines and will need to remain at that high level if they are to be a genuine premiership force this season.
