Bernhard Binder won the WSOP Paradise Super Main Event for $10,000,000. He defeated Jean-Noel Thorel after a four-hour heads-up match.

Mario Mosböck recently predicted that Bernhard Binder would become a breakout star in 2026. Binder fulfilled this vision early at the 2025 World Series of Poker Paradise. The Austrian player won the $25,000 Super Main Event. He earned $10,000,000 for his victory. This win marks his first career gold bracelet.

Binder previously won the GGMillion$ Main Event for $1.8 million this year. This latest win is nearly ten times that amount. He defeated Jean-Noel Thorel from France after a long heads-up match.

The duel lasted nearly four hours. There was a 51-year age difference between the two finalists. They represented the youngest and oldest players at the table.

The final table included several notable poker figures. Eric Wasserson and Natasha Mercier competed for the title. Terrance Reid also joined the final group.

Binder described Thorel as a special and challenging opponent. He noted that unexpected things happen when playing against him.
The tournament carried a $60 million guarantee. This was the largest guarantee in the history of poker. Total entries reached 2,891 runners. Some players entered the tournament more than twelve times. The final prize pool reached $72,275,000.
