Super Bowl MVP Betting Tips

Given all of the above, it is safe to say that this season’s Super Bowl MVP will almost certainly come from the ranks of the winning team, and you will already know from our Seattle Seahawks vs New England Patriots betting tips that we are backing the NFC team.

Kenneth Walker III and Jaxon Smith-Njigba are two of the leading contenders from the Seattle ranks, and that is no surprise considering both men have played key roles in the Seahawks’ run to the Super Bowl.

Walker III ran over San Francisco for 116 yards and three touchdowns in the Division round, while Smith-Njigba put up 153 receiving yards and a score in the NFC Championship Game success against the Los Angeles Rams.

However, we agree with the bookmakers’ decision to make quarterback Sam Darnold the favourite for the Super Bowl MVP award.

Following failed stints with the New York Jets, Carolina Panthers and San Francisco 49ers, the 28-year-old resurrected his career with Minnesota in 2024, earning him the attention of Seattle when the Vikings decided to move him on him favour of JJ McCarthy.

Darnold has spent the 2025 season making Minnesota regret that decision, and following an efficient but unspectacular performance in the Division round, he lit up the Los Angeles Rams secondary for 346 yards and three touchdowns in the NFC Championship game.

The Seahawks will need to lean on his arm once again with New England’s defense being so stout against the run, and if he leads Seattle to ultimate success in Santa Clara, his career resurrection will be complete with a Super Bowl ring and an MVP award to go along with it.
