The Seattle Seahawks are the bookmakers’ favourites to win the Super Bowl following their demolition of San Francisco in the Division round of the NFL Playoffs.

The Seahawks entered the postseason as the number one seeded team in the NFC and made a statement on Saturday night as they shut down the 49ers in a 41-6 victory.

Kenneth Walker ran over the Niners as he racked up 116 yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries, while the defense was able to shut down Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey in a dominant performance that earned rave reviews.

Therefore it is no shock to see the Seahawks heading up the outright betting at bet365, with the bookmaker pricing them up at 6/4 to lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy next month.

Their opponents in next Sunday’s NFC Championship Game, the Los Angeles Rams, are considered their biggest threat.

The Rams have successfully negotiated two road games in the playoffs to set up this meeting, following up a three-point win in Carolina with a 20-17 overtime victory in Chicago that saw them fend off another dramatic Bears fightback attempt.

Matthew Stafford had one of his rougher games of the season against the Bears, but the Rams quarterback has been in MVP-calibre form this season and the defense continues to take the ball away, something they did successfully in the regular season meetings with the Seahawks.

All of that means they are 11/5 in the outright betting, slightly ahead of New England at 12/5.

The Patriots missed out on the number one seeding in the AFC, but that has not stopped them from successfully making their way to another conference championship game.

Mike Vrabel’s team has already ousted the Los Angeles Chargers and the Houston Texans in the postseason, and they are now expected to add Denver to that list despite having to go to Mile High for this matchup.

The Broncos are the one seed in the AFC and they did just down Buffalo in the Division round, but their season may have been ruined by an injury to starting quarterback Bo Nix, which is a key reason they are now out to 12/1 to win it all.
