Mississippi State are tipped to cover as a two-touchdown underdog at LSU.
Lane Kiffin’s first season in Baton Rouge has not gone to plan, with two upset defeats leaving them in serious danger of missing out on the College Football Playoffs.
Two touchdowns is a lot of points for a team that has underwhelmed and repeatedly struggled to cover, and this Bulldogs team has enough firepower to cause them problems.

Mississippi State Take 4-1 Record To Baton Rouge
Mississippi State head to Baton Rouge on the back of their first defeat of the season, which dropped them to 4-1.
The Bulldogs opened the season with back-to-back non-conference wins, and came out on top in both of them.
They blew out UL-Monroe in the season-opener, 62-13, before heading to Minnesota to down the Golden Gophers, 38-13.
Mississippi State then kicked off their SEC campaign with consecutive wins, as they beat South Carolina on the road, 41-34, before getting the better of Missouri at home, 31-24.
The Bulldogs were unable to keep their win streak going though, as they lost 56-23 to Alabama last time out.
LSU Reeling After Second Defeat Of Season
LSU return home in desperate need of a victory, having lost last weekend to drop to 4-2 this season.
The Tigers made a dominant start to the season as they blew out Clemson in primetime, 51-10, and that was followed by a 45-14 rout of Louisiana Tech.
However, their perfect start was brought to an end in their SEC opener, as Lane Kiffin returned to face his former team and suffered a 32-24 defeat to Ole Miss.
LSU rebounded a week later with a 35-6 beatdown of Texas A&M, and then followed that up with a 63-14 demolition of McNeese State.
However, last weekend’s return to SEC action was not a successful one, as they fell to a shock 35-34 defeat at home to Kentucky.
