The traditional Cambridge vs Oxford Boat Race runs on Saturday, April 4th in 2026 with the Light Blues bidding for a fourth straight win on the River Thames in London.
It is the 171st time that Oxford and Cambridge will go head to head in the men's Boat Race, while the two crews will also clash in the 80th women's race.
Cambridge's Light Blues are favourites to win the men's race and make it four in a row and seven of the last eight.
Oxford's Dark Blues are also heavy odds-on for the women's race despite losing eight in a row since 2016.

Men's Boat Race 2026
Cambridge are the defending champions and chasing a fourth straight wins following victories in 2023, 2024 and last year in 2025.

The 80th edition of the women's boat race also sees Oxford start as clear favourites despite having not won the race since 2016.
Cambridge's Light Blues lead the head to head 49-30 and have won the last eight Boat Races during a period of total dominance.
The difference this year is the Oxford boat features Olympic bronze medallist Heidi Long at stroke along with experience from three-time Blue Annie Anezakis and two-time Blue Sarah Marshall.
