The United States are tipped to cover as they keep their unbeaten record intact.

The USA failed to cover last time out, but they are firing on all cylinders offensively, and that spells trouble for a Germany team that just coughed up four goals against Latvia.

Key Numbers – No Unlucky Number 13 For USA?

  • United States have won 11 of the last 12 meetings
  • United States have won their first 2 games by an average of 3.5 goals
  • The Over has cashed in each of the United States’ games so far

USA Lead Recent Head-To-Head; Won Last Meeting

  • United States lead the series 25-9 since 2002
  • United States won 6-3 when the two teams last met in May 2025

United States Boast Perfect 2-0 Record

The United States enter their final group game boasting a perfect record thanks to back-to-back victories.

The Americans opened their campaign with a 5-1 blowout of Latvia, scoring four unanswered goals to put the game to bed.

They then followed that up with another strong offensive outing as they powered past Denmark, winning 6-3.

The United States trailed after the opening period of that one, but they again flexed their offensive muscle to get the job done.

Five different players scored in the opening-game win over Latvia, and against the Danes they bettered that as six different players beat the Danish goalie.

Germany Looking To Rebound From 1st Defeat

Germany go into this matchup looking to rebound from their first defeat of the tournament.

The Germans opened their campaign against Denmark, and were locked at a goal apiece after the first period.

They pulled away in the second though, as Tim Stutzie scored twice to clinch a 3-1 victory over the Danes.

Germany were unable to back that up in their second outing, as they fell to a 4-3 defeast to Latvia.

The Germans held a 2-1 lead after the first period, only to then give up three straight goals before Tim Stutzie scored what proved to be a consolation goal.
