Tuesday's CHL Best Bets & Predictions - October 6, 2026

Tuesday's CHL predictions are Frölunda HC to beat Bílí Tygři Liberec, Skellefteå AIK over 2.5 team goals away to HC Plzeň and Over 5.5 goals between Växjö Lakers and Genève-Servette.

The Champions Hockey League returns on Tuesday, with three Swedish clubs providing our best betting opportunities.

Skellefteå's perfect record for scoring three or more goals in Europe stands out despite a difficult trip to Plzeň, while Frölunda are backed to overcome an improving Liberec. Växjö and Genève complete the card with the higher-risk goals selection.

Tuesday's CHL Best Bets

Frölunda HC to win + Skellefteå AIK Over 2.5 Team Goals + Växjö Lakers vs Genève-Servette Over 5.5 Goals

Bílí Tygři Liberec vs Frölunda HC Prediction

Best Bet: Frölunda HC to win including overtime and shootouts

Liberec have improved after a difficult opening to their Czech Extraliga campaign, but the overall body of work still favours Frölunda.

The Czech side have won three of their opening eight domestic games including overtime and shootouts, although consecutive victories coming into Tuesday mean they shouldn't be underestimated.

Frölunda won three of their opening four CHL matches, scoring 15 goals, and have also started strongly domestically. Keeping this to the outright winner rather than asking Frölunda to cover a puck line looks the better approach away from home.

  • Frölunda won three of their opening four CHL games.
  • They scored 15 goals across those four matches.
  • Liberec have lost 5 of their opening eight Czech league games.

HC Plzeň vs Skellefteå AIK Prediction

Best Bet: Skellefteå AIK Over 2.5 Team Goals

Skellefteå face a difficult trip to Czechia, but their scoring record makes three goals the preferred angle rather than taking them to win on the road.

The Swedish side have scored 6, 3, 3 and 6 goals across their opening four CHL games, clearing Over 2.5 team goals in every match. That includes six at Nitra and three at Mannheim in their two previous European away games.

Plzeň have been one of the competition's strongest sides themselves, winning all four CHL games and scoring 20 goals. However, their defence has shown some cracks domestically, conceding four goals in each of their last two Czech Extraliga matches.

  • Skellefteå have scored 3+ in 4/4 CHL games.
  • They have scored nine goals across two CHL away games.
  • Plzeň have conceded eight goals across their last two league matches.

Växjö Lakers vs Genève-Servette Prediction

Best Bet: Over 5.5 Goals

This is the most aggressive of Tuesday's three selections, but both teams have enough attacking quality to turn this into an open game.

Växjö's first four CHL matches produced mixed totals, but they finished the September block with an explosive 6-3 victory over Salzburg. Their domestic games have also shown their attacking upside, including seven-goal games against Malmö and Djurgården and a 7-5 win over HV71.

Genève arrive in strong Swiss National League form, winning six of their last seven despite dealing with a heavily disrupted roster. That run has generally featured tighter hockey, but their extraordinary 6-5 shootout defeat against Lausanne showed how quickly things can open up.

  • Växjö's last CHL match finished 6-3.
  • Växjö scored 3+ in both early seven-goal SHL games against Malmö and Djurgården.
  • Genève have scored 12 goals through four CHL matches.
