Switzerland are backed to delight the home crowd and win the World Championship tonight.
The Swiss have been on an outstanding run since the tournament started – no team has scored more goals and allowed less, and they also boast a group stage win over Finland.

Switzerland Boast Perfect 9-0 Record
Switzerland enter their third consecutive World Championship Final having won all nine of their games so far.
The Swiss entered the tournament having lost in the final at each of the past two World Championships, but gained an early measure of revenge for last year’s loss as they beat the United States 3-1 in the tournament opener.
They followed that up with a 4-2 victory against Latvia, and then beat Germany 6-1 before recording the first of two 9-0 wins during the group stage, blowing out Austria.
Switzerland then beat Great Britain 4-1 and Hungary 9-0 to wrap up a perfect group campaign.
The Swiss saw off Sweden in the quarter-finals, 3-1 and then booked their return to the final on Saturday as they stormed to a 6-0 victory over Norway.
Finland Out To Avenge Sole Loss So Far
Finland go into the World Championship Final having won all but one of their nine games in the tournament.
The Finns had been guilty of slow starts in recent years, but that would not be the case in 2026 as they opened with a 3-1 win over Germany and a 4-1 victory against Hungary.
They then made it three wins in a row with a 6-2 demolition of defending champions, the United States, before downing Latvia 7-1, Great Britain 4-0 and Austria 5-2.
Finland failed to complete a perfect group stage campaign though, as they fell to a 4-2 defeat against the host nation – and Sunday’s opponents – Switzerland.
The Finns rebounded in the quarter-finals as they recorded a 4-1 win over Czechia, and they followed that up in the semi-finals with a 4-2 success against tournament favourites Canada.
