Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk vs Lada Togliatti KHL 2026-27 Predictions & Betting Tips - Hosts to Respond

Neftekhimik to win including overtime and shootouts and Lada under 2.5 team goals are the best bets, with the hosts expected to make their strong home record count against one of the KHL’s lowest-scoring teams.

Neftekhimik return home after a difficult end to their three-game road trip. They beat Sibir 3-0 before losing to Salavat Yulaev and Metallurg Magnitogorsk, but this represents a considerable drop in opposition.

Igor Grishin’s team are 3-1 at home and remain unbeaten there in regulation. They have scored 14 goals across those four games while allowing only eight, holding Sochi, Avtomobilist and Admiral to one goal apiece.

Lada showed more fight in their 3-2 overtime defeat against Ak Bars, but they are still 1-6 and average only 1.71 goals per game. Neftekhimik have held five of their seven opponents below three goals, making the Lada team total more attractive than the full-game Under 5.5.

  • Neftekhimik have won three of their four home games, with their only defeat coming in overtime.
  • The hosts have scored 14 and conceded eight at home.
  • Neftekhimik have held opponents under 2.5 goals in five of seven matches.
  • Lada have stayed under 2.5 team goals in five of their seven games.

Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk Form

Neftekhimik return to Nizhnekamsk with a 4-3 record after collecting one victory from their three-game road trip. They shut out Sibir 3-0 before losing 2-0 to Salavat Yulaev and 6-2 against Metallurg.

The final score in Magnitogorsk was disappointing, but Neftekhimik started well. Matvei Zaseda opened the scoring after only 55 seconds before German Tochilkin restored their lead, sending the visitors into the first intermission 2-1 ahead.

Filipp Dolganov was eventually exposed as Metallurg took control, scoring five unanswered goals and converting twice on the power play during the third period. Returning home should help Neftekhimik recover, especially with Andrei Belozyorov recording two goals and four assists this season and Rafael Bikmullin contributing two goals and three assists.

Lada Togliatti Form

Lada have won only once in seven matches, scoring 12 goals and conceding 25. Their six defeats include three overtime losses, which is why the safer winner market includes overtime and shootouts rather than requiring Neftekhimik to finish the job in regulation.

The visitors produced a much better performance against Ak Bars after being beaten 6-0 by Barys. Evgeny Groshev opened the scoring, Nikita Mikhailov equalised nine seconds into the third period and Andrei Mishurov made several important saves before Lada lost 3-2 in overtime.

That response cannot completely erase their attacking problems. Lada registered only seven shots on goal against Barys, including one in the opening period and none in the third. Riley Savchuk leads the team with five goals and two assists, while Mikhailov has one goal and six assists, but the visitors have not received enough scoring support beyond their leading forwards.
