The second edition of the DP World India Championship takes place from October 15-18 with a strong field in New Delhi this week.

Tommy Fleetwood is back to defend his title after a two-stroke victory over Keita Nakajima in 2025.

These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.

Robert MacIntyre

Robert MacIntyre has been performing well on the PGA Tour and DP World Tour during the latter half of this year, placing T10 at the Travelers Championship, T3 at the Genesis Scottish Open, T28 at the Open Championship, T7 at the BMW Championship, 28th at the Tour Championship, T14 at the Amgen Irish Open, T10 at the BMW PGA Championship and T6 at the recent Alfred Dunhill Championship.

Other notable results achieved by MacIntyre this season include a T20 at the Genesis Invitational, T24 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, 4th at the Players Championship, T2 at the Valero Texas Open, and T15 at the RBC Canadian Open.

The three-time DP World Tour winner will make his debut at the DP World India Championship this weekend.

MacIntyre has been threatening to secure another title lately and can make the frame at the Delhi Golf Club this weekend.

Aaron Rai

Aaron Rai has been in decent nick on the PGA Tour and DP World Tour lately, placing T29 at the Wyndham Championship, T63 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, T16 at the BMW Championship and T2 at the BMW PGA Championship.

Additional highlights from Rai's season include winning his first Major title at the PGA Championship and finishing T23 at the Cognizant Classic, T24 at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, 5th at the Myrtle Beach Classic, T19 at the Memorial Tournament and T11 at the U.S. Open.

The three-time DP World Tour winner will make his debut at the DP World India Championship this weekend.

Rai has been showing signs that he is ready to win his second title of the season in India this weekend.

Min Woo Lee

Min Woo Lee has been in solid form on the PGA Tour lately, placing 2nd at the Genesis Scottish Open, T59 at the Open Championship, T55 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, T47 at the BMW Championship, T4 at the Tour Championship and T9 at the Baycurrent Classic last weekend.

Other noteworthy results this season include a T5 at the BMW Australian PGA Championship, a T14 at the Crown Australian Open, a T2 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, a T12 at the Genesis Invitational, a T6 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, a T3 at the Texas Children's Houston Open, a T18 at the Cadillac Championship, a T14 at the Truist Championship and a T18 at the PGA Championship.

The three-time DP World Tour winner will make his debut at the DP World India Championship this weekend.

Min Woo Lee will have every chance of victory in India if he can replicate his recent results.

Jacob Olesen

Jacob Olesen has been in excellent form on the DP World Tour lately, placing T2 at the British Masters, T7 at the Amgen Irish Open, MC at the BMW PGA Championship, T11 at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship and 4th at the Open de Espana last weekend.

Other prominent performances achieved by Olesen this year include a T3 at the Qatar Masters, a T5 at the Magical Kenya Open, a T16 at the Hero Indian Open, a T4 at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, a T4 at the Turkish Airlines Open, a T2 at the Soudal Open, a T6 at the Corales Puntacana Championship, a T9 at the Danish Golf Championship and a T16 at the Nexo Championship.

The 27-year-old Dane will make his debut at the DP World India Championship this weekend.

Olesen has been knocking hard on the door this season and could upstage the others at the Delhi Golf Club come Sunday.

Verdict

MacIntyre has the form to go all the way and win the DP World India Championship this weekend.

Rai has been thereabouts lately and could lift the trophy at the Delhi Golf Club come Sunday.

Min Woo Lee has performed well lately and could pocket the winner's cheque in India this weekend.

Olesen can convert his consistent results into his maiden DP World Tour victory come Sunday.
