BMW PGA Championship is the third Rolex Series event of the season on the DP World Tour with the flagship event at Wentworth.

Alex Noren returns to defend his title after a playoff victory over Adrien Saddier in 2025.

These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.

Ludvig Aberg

Ludvig Aberg has rediscovered his touch from earlier in this season on the PGA Tour lately, placing T9 at the Open Championship, T7 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, T16 at the BMW Championship, and T4 at the Tour Championship.

Other noteworthy results achieved by Aberg this season include a T20 at the Genesis Invitational, a T3 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, a T5 at the Players Championship, a T5 at the Valero Texas Open, a T21 at the Masters, a T4 at the RBC Heritage, a T8 at the Truist Championship, and a T4 at the PGA Championship.

The Swede has featured twice at the BMW PGA Championship, finishing T10 in 2023 and T20 in 2025.

Aberg has been knocking hard lately and will fancy his chances of getting over the finish line in Surrey this weekend.

Viktor Hovland

Viktor Hovland has been back to his best on the PGA Tour since mid-June, placing 3rd at the RBC Canadian Open, MC at the U.S. Open, a victory at the Travelers Championship, T13 at the Genesis Scottish Open, MC at the Open Championship, T19 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, T33 at the BMW Championship, and 2nd at the Tour Championship.

Other prominent performances achieved by Hovland this season include a T23 at the Nedbank Golf Challenge, a T14 at the Dubai Desert Classic, a T10 at the WM Phoenix Open, a T13 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, a T13 at the Players Championship, and a T18 at the Masters.

The eight-time PGA Tour winner has contested the BMW PGA Championship on five occasions, finishing T11 in 2019, T49 in 2021, T5 in 2022, 5th in 2023, and T5 in 2025.

Hovland plays consistently well at the Wentworth Golf Club and can emerge as the winner this weekend.

Joaquin Niemann

Joaquin Niemann has been performing well in the LIV Golf League and DP World Tour during the past two months, placing 3rd at the Italian Open, T7 at the BMW International Open, MC at the Open Championship, T28 in the United Kingdom, a victory in New York, T17 in Indianapolis, and T2 at the Amgen Irish Open last weekend.

Other notable results achieved by Niemann this year include a T12 in Adelaide, 4th in Singapore, a T12 in South Africa, a T8 in Virginia, a T18 at the PGA Championship, a victory in Korea, and T7 at the U.S. Open.

The nine-time LIV Golf Tour winner finished T20 overall at the 2025 BMW PGA Championship on debut.

Niemann comes into this event in great shape and will fancy his chances of securing the title in England come Sunday.

Tom McKibbin

Tom McKibbin has found form on the LIV Golf League and DP World Tour in his last four outings, placing T6 in New York, T12 in Indianapolis, T6 at the British Masters, and T5 at the Amgen Irish Open last weekend.

Additional highlights from McKibbin's season include a T16 at the Nedbank Golf Challenge, T19 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, T17 in Riyadh, T5 in Mexico City, and a T25 at the Italian Open.

The 23-year-old had made three appearances at the BMW PGA Championship, finishing T51 in 2023, T10 in 2024, and T11 in 2025.

McKibbin appears to have turned the corner and can make the frame at the Wentworth Golf Club this weekend.
