The 3M Open takes place at TPC Twin Cities and world number one Scottie Scheffler heads a field bidding for victory in Minnesota on Sunday.

Kurt Kitayama returns to defend his title after a one-stroke victory over Sam Stevens in 2025, but it is Scheffler who dominates the betting markets.

These are our selections that could win the title this weekend as we hunt out value against the biggest name in the game.

Maverick McNealy

Maverick McNealy has been producing consistent results on the PGA Tour since the beginning of April, placing T21 at the Valero Texas Open, T18 at the Masters, T16 at the RBC Heritage, T30 at the Cadillac Championship and T37 at the Truist Championship.

He was then T18 at the PGA Championship, T10 at the Memorial Tournament, T32 at the U.S. Open, T55 at the Travelers Championship before missing the cut at the Open Championship last weekend.

Other noteworthy performances achieved by McNealy this season include finishing T24 at the Sony Open in Hawaii, 10th at the Farmers Insurance Open, T13 at the WM Phoenix Open, and T13 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

The American golfer has featured four times at the 3M Open, placing T16 in 2021, T49 in 2022, and T3 in 2024 before missing the cut in 2025.

McNealy has been posting solid results and can win the title in Minnesota come Sunday.

Jackson Suber

Jackson Suber has been in decent nick on the PGA Tour in recent months, placing T19 at the Myrtle Beach Classic, 4th at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, T67 at the Charles Schwab Challenge, T4 at the RBC Canadian Open, MC at the U.S. Open, T30 at the Travelers Championship, T6 at the John Deere Classic and T28 at the Open Championship last weekend.

Other prominent performances achieved by Suber this season include a T4 at the Astara Golf Championship on the Korn Ferry Tour and a T28 at the Texas Children's Houston Open.

The American missed the cut at the 3M Open on debut in 2025.

Suber has been performing well recently and can pocket the winner's cheque in Minnesota come Sunday.

Gary Woodland

Gary Woodland has been playing well on the PGA Tour since mid-April, placing T8 at the RBC Heritage, T38 at the Cadillac Championship, T17 at the Truist Championship, MC at the PGA Championship, T6 at the Charles Schwab Challenge, T36 at the Memorial Tournament, T7 at the U.S. Open, and 71st at the Travelers Championship before missing the cut at the Open Championship last weekend.

Other notable results achieved by Woodland this year include a T14 at the Valspar Championship and a victory at the Texas Children's Houston Open.

The four-time PGA Tour winner has made four appearances at the 3M Open, finishing T11 in 2021, MC in 2023, T37 in 2024, and T20 in 2025.

Woodland has been in great touch this season and should enter calculations at TPC Twin Cities this weekend.

Mac Meissner

Mac Meissner has been in solid form on the PGA Tour since the end of April, placing T10 at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, T9 at the Myrtle Beach Classic, T31 at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, T3 at the Charles Schwab Challenge, T46 at the Memorial Tournament, MC at the RBC Canadian Open, T44 at the Travelers Championship, T6 at the John Deere Classic, and T30 at the Genesis Scottish Open.

Additional highlights achieved by Meissner this year include a T18 at the WM Phoenix Open and a T28 at the Texas Children's Houston Open.

The 27-year-old has contested the 3M Open on two occasions, finishing T59 in 2024 and T14 in 2025.

Meissner will fancy his chances to lift the trophy at TPC Twin Cities if he can replicate his recent form.

Verdict

McNealy has been threatening to put in a big performance and can emerge victorious in Minnesota this weekend.

Suber has found some form and has every chance of winning his maiden PGA Tour title this weekend.

Woodland has been posting solid results and offers excellent value at TPC Twin Cities.

Meissner has been thereabouts lately and can make the frame at the 3M Open come Sunday.
