Singapore vs Timor Leste Verdict

Singapore won their opening game, while Timor-Leste were thrashed 7-0. This one is tipped to follow suit with Singapore backed to overcome a three-goal handicap as the best bet.

  • Singapore won their ASEAN Championship opening game
  • Singapore have won all 3 previous games against Timor Leste
  • Timor Leste lost 7-0 in their opening game of the ASEAN Championship
  • Timor Leste have lost all 17 previous matches at the ASEAN Championship finals

Singapore Dominate Head to Head

Singapore have a perfect record against Timor Leste with three straight wins. All three were in the ASEAN Championship with the most recent coming in 2024.

Singapore Form - Winning Start To Hyundai Cup

Singapore made a winning start to their 2026 Hyundai Cup campaign with a 2-1 victory over Cambodia on Friday.

Gavin Lee’s side did leave it late as Ilhan Fandi netted 11 minutes into added time to snatch victory at the Morodok Techo National Stadium.

Singapore have been in mixed form in the build up to the tournament, winning three and losing three of six internationals since last November.

The most recent was a 2-1 defeat against China in a friendly in June in the final preparations for the ASEAN Championship.

Timor Leste Form - Drubbing In Opener

Timor Leste were given a harsh lesson in the ASEAN Championship opener as they were beaten 7-0 by Vietnam last week.

Jose Salazar's side conceded five times in a nightmare first-half against Vietnam. Despite an improved second-half performance, Timor Leste shipped another two goals after the break.

The Crocodiles have now lost all 17 previous matches at the ASEAN Championship finals, conceding 75 goals while scoring just nine.

They booked their place at the ASEAN Championship with a convincing 6-1 aggregate victory over Brunei last month.

After cruising to a 3-0 first-leg win, Jose Salazar's side briefly fell behind in the return leg before responding with three second-half goals to complete a comfortable 6-1 aggregate success.
