PSG and Bayern Munich have explosive attacks that regularly score 2+ goals. I can’t see Bayern abandoning their attacking philosophy in Paris where a high scoring draw is on the cards

HTH - No Draws

These teams have met on 16 occasions, Bayern Munich leading PSG 9-7 with no draws. They met in the group stage this season, Luis Diaz scoring twice as Bayern won 2-1 in Paris.

PSG Form Guide

Paris Saint-Germain have won eight of their last nine matches, all by 2+ goals. They crushed Chelsea 8-2 on aggregate in the Champions League round of 16.

Luis Enrique’s side were too good for Liverpool in the quarter-finals, winning 2-0 in both legs. The second leg at Anfield was a closer affair, Ousmane Dembele scoring two late goals.

The Parisians returned to Ligue 1 action with a shock 2-1 defeat to Lyon despite enjoying 77% possession and 23-6 shots. It’s been back to business since, 3-0 victories against Nantes and Angers extending their lead to six points.

Enrique spoke after the victory in Angers: “I think the team started the game very well, really connected. We did the job properly and that’s very positive for us.

“When you get a result like this, it’s the best way to prepare for a Champions League semi-final. It’s important for each player’s confidence, but also for the team and the supporters. We are ready.”

Bayern Munich Form Guide

FC Bayern are in phenomenal form, winning 16 of their previous 17 matches. They have scored 19 goals in their previous five victories and remain on track to win three titles.

The Bavarians were too good for Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-finals. They won 2-1 in Spain where both teams had 20 shots, returning to Germany where two late goals secured a 4-3 victory.

Harry Kane has scored in seven straight games to make it 51 for the club this season. He opened the scoring in a 2-0 win at Bayer Leverkusen in the German Cup semi-final.

Vincent Kompany’s side are coming off an incredible 4-3 win at Mainz where they were 3-0 down at half-time. Michael Olise, Jamal Musiala and Kane came off the bench to score, the manager pleased with the second half fight back.

He said: “It felt like it could’ve been four or five before the break. Then it’s about quality and mentality. The way the team rose to the challenge in the second half.”

“We celebrated like we’d saved ourselves from relegation. I love this kind of mentality. When you need a miracle at the end of the season, you can’t start from nothing. You have to gain the feeling and the belief, and that was always there today.”
