Kruger Hold Lead

These sides have met on four previous occasions. Kruger United hold a 3-1 lead.

When they last met in March 2026 in the First Division, Kruger won 1-0 at home.

Milford Promoted Via the Playoffs

Milford picked up their first top-flight win in midweek. They were promoted from last season’s Motsepe Foundation Championship by finishing third and winning the playoffs.

Milford secured promotion in their final playoff match by drawing 1-1 at home vs Magesi. Their opening match in the Betway Premiership saw a 2-0 loss at Orlando Pirates in a decent outing.

In midweek, they beat Siwelele 1-0 at home. A 77th-minute goal sealed the three points despite being outshot 15-10.

Kruger United Took First Point in Midweek

Kruger United won the First Division title last season to secure promotion. Their PSL matches thus far have yielded one point.

Kruger beat Black Leopards 3-1 to make it six straight wins and seal promotion. They ended last season with a 1-0 win at Gomora United and a 2-2 home draw vs The Bees in two dead rubbers.

The 2026-27 season began with a 3-1 loss at home to Kaizer Chiefs. They secured a first point on Tuesday by drawing 0-0 at Marumo Gallants as their opponents missed a penalty.
