FC Seoul vs Bucheon Predictions
FC Seoul can maintain winning form when they take on Bucheon at Seoul World Cup Stadium in the K League 1 on Tuesday.
The hosts secured a brilliant win against Anyang last weekend, and they should build on that with another high-scoring home win.
Seoul to win with over 2.5 goals is my top pick, and I also have a second stake on the hosts to score at least three goals.
League Leaders Backed in Seoul
- FC Seoul won 7 of their last 11 matches (K League 1)
- FC Seoul have seen over 2.5 goals in their last 4 wins
- FC Seoul scored 3+ goals in their last 4 wins
- Bucheon conceded 3+ goals in their last 2 matches against Seoul
- Bucheon have seen over 2.5 goals in 5 of their last 7 matches (K League 1)
FC Seoul Dominate Head to Head Record
FC Seoul and Bucheon have met on three previous occasions since 2016. Seoul won all three matches.
Kim Gi-dong’s side claimed a 3-0 home victory in April before securing a 3-1 win at Bucheon Stadium last month.
Seoul Hit Seven at Anyang
FC Seoul return to home soil after securing their biggest league victory of the season with a remarkable 7-0 win against FC Anyang on Saturday.
Seon-min Moon scored twice, while Hrvoje Babec, Patryk Klimala, Anderson Oliveira, Jeong Seung-won and Lee Seung-mo also got their names on the scoresheet.
A ruthless first-half display had the visitors five goals up after 45 minutes. The league leaders dominated the contest, registering 22 shots while enjoying 56% possession at Anyang Stadium.
Before Saturday’s superb road victory, Seoul also secured an excellent 4-2 home victory against Daejeon.
The hosts have won six and lost three of 11 K League games played at Seoul World Cup Stadium this season. An average of 2.71 goals per game were scored in those fixtures.
Twenty-four games into the K League 1 season, Kim Gi-dong’s runaway leaders remain 13 points clear of title-holders Jeonbuk.
Bucheon Enjoy Strong Run
Bucheon travel to Seoul in excellent form after a fine 3-0 victory against Pohang Steelers on Saturday.
Galego opened the scoring before Dong-jin Kim’s own goal doubled Bucheon’s advantage. Kim Sang-jun secured a dominant home victory with a third goal in the 89th minute.
Lee Young-min’s side have now won three of their last four league matches and remain unbeaten in each of seven games played in the past month.
Despite their improved recent form, Bucheon sit 8th in the 12-team KL1, but only seven points behind second-placed Jeonbuk.
While high-scoring outcomes have been less frequent for the visitors, three of their four previous KL1 contests finished with at least three goals scored.
