England vs Czech Republic Preview

England have controlled their last two matches and beat Czech Republic and Croatia without conceding. Anthony Gordon has been a key player for the Three Lions recently and he can score in a likely home victory.

3 Goals in 3 for Anthony Gordon

  • England have won to nil in 2 consecutive games.
  • England’s Anthony Gordon has scored 3 goals in his last 3 matches.
  • Czech Republic have lost their last 4 games.

H2H - Three Lions Advantage

England have a 4-1 advantage against the Czech Republic, alongside one draw.

England Finding Nations League Form

Thomas Tuchel’s England are in good recent form, winning three of their previous four matches. The Three Lions have scored 17 goals in that spell.

England’s only recent defeat was a 3-2 loss at home against world champions Spain. Harry Kane and Anthony Gordon scored in that clash.

Tuchel’s side responded with back-to-back wins, starting with a 2-0 away triumph in the Czech Republic. Anthony Gordon opened the scoring after half time and England allowed 0.38 XG.

Another victory followed on Saturday as the Three Lions thumped Croatia 7-0 away. Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham, Gordon, Bukayo Saka and Morgan Rogers scored and England had 6.43 XG.

Czech Republic on a Long Losing Streak

Czech Republic are on a six-match winless run in all competitions and have lost five games in that streak.

The central European side were eliminated at the 2026 World Cup group stage and lost 3-0 in their final game against Mexico.

Santi Denia’s team have also lost all three matches in Nations League Group A3. Czech Republic started their campaign with home losses to Croatia 2-1 and England 2-0.

The Lions were outplayed in a 3-1 away loss at Spain on Saturday. They had just 0.49 XG, conceded twice in the opening 35 minutes and Jiri Slama scored a second-half consolation goal.
