Chippa are set to play out a tight match on Saturday. I see BTTS No and Chippa to nick the win.

Chippa To Edge Milford

  • Chippa United have seen BTTS No in 9 of their last 13 home matches.
  • Milford have lost 3 of their last 7 matches.
  • Milford have seen BTTS No in 9 of their last 11 matches.

First-Ever Clash

This is the first ever meeting between the clubs.

One Win in 10 Matches for Chippa

Chippa United’s last 16 league matches have yielded just two wins. They’ve lost four of their last seven home matches.

This season began with a 0-0 draw away at Golden Arrows before a 1-1 home draw vs Richards Bay. A 3-0 home defeat to Orlando Pirates saw three goals conceded after the hour mark.

Their last match saw a fortunate 1-1 draw away at Siwelele. Chippa produced just 0.21 xG and one shot on target as they were outshot 15-5.

Milford With Seven Points

Milford have taken seven points from five matches since their promotion to the top flight. Their only defeats have come versus last season’s top two finishers.

They lost 2-0 at Orlando Pirates on the opening day before a 1-0 home win over Siwelele. Milford beat fellow promoted club Kruger United as they put up a 22-10 shot count despite playing with ten men.

A steady 0-0 draw at Polokwane City saw a 16-7 shot count in Milford’s favour. In midweek, they lost 2-0 at Mamelodi Sundowns as they gave another strong performance.

Predicted Lineups & News

Chippa United (4-5-1): Nwabali; Kammies, Majadibodu, Mobara, Jones; Matrose, Tshabalala, Seabi, Mosele, Figuareido; Mlotshwa.

Right back Sirgio Kammies is available after an injury scare. Ibrahim Bance has been signed in midfield but he is awaiting his work permit.

Ntuthuko Mlotshwa is set to play up front once again. Goalkeeper Dumisani Msibi has departed the club this week.

Milford (4-1-4-1): Hleza; Bhengu, Mthabela, Cele, Mdluli; Mthethwa; Zikakayo, Mabena, Chili, Gxakoshe; Masilela.

Milford’s coach Xanti Pupuma has Menzi Chili available in midfield once again. He will bring extra creativity.

Sicele Masilela is set for a recall in attack. He was used from the bench against Sundowns.
